Dorene is a painter working between abstraction and figuration. Her compositions unfold intuitively through layers, gesture, and vivid palettes, embracing the beauty and spontaneity that give life its energy and individuality.

Raised in New York by two fiercely strong women who faced life's challenges with humor, resilience, and authenticity, Dorene learned early the power of emotional honesty and tenacity—qualities that remain central to her work.

For three decades, she led an international advertising agency as creative director, earning numerous awards for fearless, inventive, and visually striking campaigns. That same instinct for originality and creativity now drives her studio practice, where painting has become her most personal form of expression.
